La Bohème continued…

Set in Weimar-era Berlin, this production directed by Gale Edwards sets out to expose the suffering caused by the Bohemians’ “careless existence” – to shine a light on Mimì’s plight (poverty and tuberculosis) until it’s too late.

Working closely with the Set Designer Brian Thomson, we created a dark, decadent and lustful world of the Cafe Momus contrasting with a bleak landscape of poverty to expose the, fractious, desperate and challenged relationships of the young lovers.
